YOU CAMBOURNE MEMBERS ARE TRULY AMAZING!!!!!
Well, at the end of the 12 week 'let's beat it' for obesity campaign, you amazing members have lost a staggering 67.5 stones between you - in just 12 weeks!!! PRAISEWORTHY INDEED!!!! I'm doing my best to find out how this compares with other Slimming World groups in the area so watch this space - but regardless of the outcome, this Cambourne group is certainly a winner!!!
How fantastic is FOOD OPTIMISING? We all know that DIET stands for "DARE I EAT THAT????" - FOOD OPTIMISING (FO) stands for FULL to OVERFLOWING. So you really can EAT YOURSELVES THIN!!

TOP TIPS TO SUCCESS!!
To get you all super-charged this weekend, I thought I'd share with you my TOP TIPS TO SUCCESS to ensure you have a FABULOUS weight loss next week!
Take some time to meal-plan your next 7 days, giving thought to the demands on your time during the week ahead
Aim to vary your choices throughout the week. The wider the variety of foods, the greater the health and weight loss benefits.
Aim to cook meals the whole family can enjoy. There’s no need to cook separately for you. Food Optimising is just ordinary, wholesome, everyday foods - with a touch of magic!
Make the most of basic, hunger-busting Free Foods for truly appetising main meals. Pre-planning, slow-cookers and automatic oven settings can make a meal even more convenient than the pre-packaged, additive-laden variety - and certainly more appreciated by all.
Take a quiet therapeutic half-hour to prepare a basic Free Food meal the evening before. So much less hassle than the supermarket scramble, the driving, the parking, the check-out queue!
Make a list before you go food stick to it; impulse buys can wreak havoc.
Including food from the Syns list is a great way to ensure you never feel deprived or guilty around food. Punishing weight loss regimes that ban certain foods are known to be counterproductive.
Test out Free Foods to the limit! Satisfy your appetite with as much Free Food as you like. Don't panic when family and friends say you can't possibly lose weight eating all that! They're wrong! You can!
Enjoy, savour, delight in and relish every single mouthful you eat this week (and not just this week, but every week!)

WOO-HOO!!!!!!
Fabulous weight losses in this evening's groups - 115.5lbs in total!!! What amazing awards, too - Karen getting her AMAZING 5 stone award, and Ann getting her FAB 4 stone award, not to mention all you other fabulous achievers!!!!! Can't wait to see who's on the Slimmer of the Month roll of honour next week - could it be you??????
Well done to David and Mark who were the lucky(!) raffle prize winners - those spuds will keep you going for a week or so :)
I'm off to France for a few days R&R but keep those success stories coming - you're all absolute superstars!!!!
And remember - nothing tastes as good as being slim feels!!!

THE FIRST STEP IS THE HARDEST
Well I've just returned from Starship Slimming World HQ where I've had some fabulous training!! What's great about HQ is that the food is amazing - everything on the menu comes from our fabulous cookbooks and all the syn values worked out for you. The desserts really are just too good to be true and low-syn!!! Anyway, I picked up this rather appropriate quote called The First Step Is the Hardest which I wanted to share with you:

If you can get up the courage to begin,
you have the courage to succeed.
Begin where you are, work where you are.
The hour which you are now wasting,
dreaming of some far off success,
may be crowded with grand possibilities.
The first essential of success is that you begin.
Once you have started,
all that is within and without you will come to your assistance.
Do not wait.
The time will never be "just right."
Start where you stand,
and work with whatever tools you have at your command.
Better tools will be found as you go along.
Eighty percent of success is showing up.
So make sure you all make that first step on Wednesday - see you in Group!!!

WHAT AN INCREDIBLE SUCCESS YOU ARE!!!!
Well, you guys certainly ensured your first double-session was a HUGE success! Apologies to those members who arrived in between groups expecting a 7pm start - despite my efforts to contact EVERYONE, one or two slipped through the net! You're just loving the new timings - with over 60 of your gorgeous members enjoying a buzzing first session and around 20 of you having a bit more of a relaxed second session! Boy or boy - are those pounds just dropping off you in chunks!!!! Since you started the fantastic "let's beat it" campaign 10 weeks ago, you've lost and ABSOLUTELY INCREDIBLE 53 STONES!!!!! Who knows what the final total will be - the sky really is the limit!!! All I can say is WOW!!! I'm so proud to be your consultant!!!
Don't forget that next week we'll be making a fuss of our gorgeous men!! Bring a plate of fabulous food optimising food and let's look forward to celebrating our male successes!!
Next Wednesday can't come soon enough so bring it on!!!
